Kitten Formula Feeding
A kitten will nurse for about 45 minutes at a time every 2 to 3 hours for the first week of life.

Keep the kitten in a natural feeding position on its belly and offer warm formula every three to four hours until the kitten begins to wean to solid food. If the kitten is 1 week old it should be fed every 2 3 hours of 2 6ml formula. This is very time consuming for someone who is bottle feeding a newborn kitten so if at all possible you will want to try to keep the kitten with its mother or a surrogate lactating cat who can nurse it. The rest of the time will be spent sleeping.
After each feeding make sure that the kitty burps after. Ideally a kitten should eat about 8ml of formula per ounce of body weight per day. Using your fingertips gently tap its back until it finally burps. With the kitten s head upright keep it on its belly and let it suck the bottle nipple.
A kitten should eat 7 15 cc s per feeding. Once it ages 3 weeks old it should be fed every 4 6 of 10 14ml. 3 ounces goat milk from store.
